Maximus Call Center Workers in Arizona Take Action Demanding Better Workplace Health and Safety Standards

On Friday, May 1, Maximus workers across the country stood together during a national day of action to tell Maximus, enough is enough. Last week workers were given a napkin and two rubber bands and told to use them as masks. This is just one example of how poorly Maximus has handled this crisis. Too many maximus workers are waiting to be told if we can work from home and many have unanswered questions about the ability to take leave. Through several solidarity actions they forced Maximus to listen to their collective voices.

They were joined by Arizona Representative Athena Salman, Arizona Senator Juan Mendez and DSA Phoenix.
