A "Cute" Story from the Regional Support Center in Phoenix at 20 East Thomas

At our biggest Qwest location, 20 E Thomas, our members posted their red "CWA Member" placards at their desks. For the past 10 years, they have posted either neon green or bright pink placards that say the same thing and it's never been a problem.

Originally, management told our members they would have to move their red placards inside their cubicle walls. So, they did. It pissed off our members so they decided to drape their work stations in red. They brought in red wrapping paper, red cloth and red construction paper. They even hung their red placards from the ceiling and on the windows.

Well, management didn't like that either and are now saying our members can have no "red" on the outside or above their cubicles. So, here is a picture of one of our members who has proudly found another way of having red outside of her cubicle. Thought you might enjoy.
